How To RegisterYou may register for the 17th Tcl/Tk Conference by
If you register in advance, You will recieve a $100 discount over the at-the-door conference rate. You can register at the door when you arrive at the Hilton Suites Oakbrook Terrace Registration will be open daily from 08:30 until 17:00.
Conference LocationThe conference will be held at the Hilton Suites Oakbrook Terrace , with rooms at $99.00 (US) per night from Sunday (10/10) to the following Sunday (10/17). (Extensions of this rate may be possible. Inquire when you make a reservation.) When the Hilton software does not have a room in our block available for a night you've requested, it only offers rooms at the $179.00 rate. If that happens to you, contact Beata Fila ([email protected]) and let her know what nights you wish to book. It will be taken care of. To register for a room at the conference hotel, visit the Hilton website. These rooms will be released to the general public after September 26, so be sure to reserve your room early. Each tutorial is one half-day session (3 hours instruction time + one break).
Tutorials have limited space. Registration is on a first-come,
first-serve basis.
Tutorial PricingThe Tcl/Tk Conference Committee is offering tutorials on a Cheaper-By-The-(one-third)Dozen schedule. Rather than a flat rate, the tutorials become cheaper as you learn more.
Cancellation PolicyIf for any reason you need to cancel your registration, please email [email protected]. Registration fees for cancellations received before July 1st will be refunded after a $100 processing charge has been deducted. TransportationAirThere are shuttle busses (not free) from the airports to the Hilton Oakbrook:
Windy City Limo provides airport to hotel service for $25.00. You can reach the hotel from the airport by Taxi if you prefer that.
GroundLocalIt will not be necessary to rent a car for the duration of the conference. Oak Brook Mall is just across the street from the hotel. This is a multiple acre mall with everything from hardware to software.
