Installing TclPro

  • Unix: Unpack the tar file and run the "setup.sh" script to start the installer. If you get a ".tar.gz" file, unpack it with this UNIX command line:

    gunzip < file | tar xvf -
  • Windows: The tclpro13.exe file is a self-installing executable file. Windows users must start with this file.
The tclprodev13.zip file is an additional optional component. The tclprodev13.zip file contains the libraries necessary for C program development and creating custom shells for TclPro Wrapper. Extract it into the installation directory of TclPro.

Download

Note 1: Windows users must get the .exe file. The Windows .zip file has optional C programming libraries. These libraries are included in all the UNIX distributions.
