TCL Extension for IIDC IEEE1394(Firewire) Video Cameras and Raw Image

Abstract
We present a Tcl/Tk extension that is designed to enable Tcl users to easily
build Tcl applications for using the IIDC-compliant IEEE1394(Firewire) video
cameras. It is made up of two sets of procedures: the video camera controllers
and the "raw" digital image processors. The latter can also be used for
processing the raw images from any digital camera. Users can customize the
built-in raw-to-color converter as well as create new procedures in Tcl based
on their own algorithms to enhance the image quality by achieving more
accurate colors, eliminating purple fringes, and reducing noise in dark
areas.
